Isabel Walker
A communications specialist with more than 30 years’ experience, Isabel is a highly skilled writer, editor and media relations manager. She is also experienced in all aspects of charity organisation, particularly strategic planning.
As a journalist, Isabel worked at the highest level in the consumer and specialist (medical) media, including stints as Medical Correspondent of the Daily Mail and Sunday Telegraph and Editor of Medeconomics and Fitness Magazine.
Following a personal experience of pre-eclampsia, she founded the national charity Action on Pre-eclampsia (APEC) in 1991 and led it as Director until 2000. Since then she has been providing consultancy services to the private, public and voluntary services, including:
